Photoshop tutorial – Light string

I am going to teach how to make some glowing strokes in photoshop. im using Photoshop , also if you follow some of the shortcuts you can speed up your workflow!
End Result:
Step 1 – Setup
Open up a picture you want to edit. Create a new layer and name it "strings".
Step 2 – Drawing path
Select the pen tool from the toolbar. This tool can be used for making smooth lines and vector curves. Useful in vector graphics.
If this is your first time using pen tool, play around until you can create a path like this:
Step 3 – Stroking the path
Choose brush tool frmo the toolbar:
Right click the picture and choose the brush you want to use.
Go back to the pen tool. Right click the picture again and click on "Stroke Path..."
Make sure "Simulate Pressure" is on. This makes the fake tablet pressure input so the stroke is fading and shrinking on the edges (beginning and the end of the stroke). Using white color is advised.
Press ESC twice to get out of the path.
Step 4 – Adding glow, layer styling
Right click on the layer that holds the stroke and choose "blending options". Apply these settings:
Click Ok. You should get results similar to this:
Step 5 – Erasing unnecessary lines, depth
Pick eraser tool from the toolbar
Dragging the mouse, remove the lines to create depth, making the microphone belted with the
string... Like this:

We're done with the glowing string. Now for slight glow surges!
Step 6 – Making surges
I hope you didn't mess with layer styling... because you're gonna use the same layer we've been using all the time. Use brush tool and pick up any brush you want... Make few spots on the image... That's pretty much it...

I’m really loving the theme/design of your site. Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility issues? A few of my blog visitors have complained about my website not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome. Do you have any advice to help fix this problem?
